Zagreb’s Swanky Mint Hostel has been voted the best in Croatia by the community at Hostelworld, a hostel focused global online booking platform, holding a meta score of 9.4 based on 527 reviews, or Superb rating.
The fourteenth Hoskars, as the award is called, gave out awards in multiple categories including Best hostel by continent, country, most popular hostels by number of bookings and positive reviews (Split and Dubrovnik are there too), most improved hostels etc.
Swanky Mint’s shabby chic look inspired by industrial design of an old turn of the 20th century industrial laundry buissines that use to be there, with a modern service, a happy go lucky attitude of the staff, a beautiful enclosed summer terrace with regular music programs and lectures by travelers has made the title well deserved.
