The wildlife is known for its everlasting and sometimes raw beauty, and at this time, the Zagreb Zoo Park is having an ‘Exotic winter at the Zoo’!
Every animal is special, and the winter atmosphere makes a perfect setting to observe and explore the diverse wildlife. The program is primarily of educational nature and is focused on the acquisition of new experiences and the little ones will be able to meet new animals and species from a whole different perspective.
On February 24th and 25th, the program will be running from 11 am to 3 pm. The event is themed ‘The first line of defense’ and you will be able to learn more about animal defense mechanisms that protect them from predators. Some animals will play dead, some are venomous, while others intimidate with their appearance or are just agile enough to escape. Those who feel creative will be able to participate in the birdhouse building workshop.
