Zagreb Classic – „Ero s onog svijeta“ Performance on Croatian National Day

On 25th June, in celebration of National Day, Croatian National Theatre performs Ero the Joker (literal translation – Ero from the other world) on King Tomislav Square.

For the past few days, the Symphony Orchestra and Choir of HRT attracted the crowd on King Tomislav Square. It was all a part of Zagreb Classic – an open air festival of orchestras during the summer days in Zagreb.

Soloists, choirs, ballet ensembles and orchestra of the Croatian National Theater are all coming together tomorrow to mesmerize the public with their performance. Ero the Joker is a comic opera in three acts by Jakov Gotovac. It is considered the most successful Croatian comic opera and it is performed in theaters abroad as well.

It will be a unique performance of the opera under the open sky on King Tomislav Square directed by Krešimir Dolenčić and under the direction of maestro Nikša Bareze. Entrance is free for the public and program starts at 9 pm.
