A new tram line will connect the city center with Zagreb airport Pleso in only 20 minutes; that is the newest promise given by the City of Zagreb, wrote Jutarnji list. The project worth 50 million kunas is supposed to be finalized by the end of 2019.
If everything above becomes reality, the ‘blue transport’ should be driving from Kvaternik square over Heinzlova and Radnicka streets to Domovinski most and finally to Pleso and back. For only 10 kunas!
As it was said, the first construction works should begin in early 2017, and the tramline will be built in three stages.
According to given promises, this line will connect Zagreb with other European cities such as London, which has a metro line leading from Heathrow to the city core.
