It’s sad that street punk had a golden age. It was in the 80’s with bands like The Exploited, G.B.H., One Way System, Discharge, The Partisans owning the scene. By the 90’s the scene was dead and South American native descendant Jorge Herrera decided to take the motto ‘punk’s not dead’ personally and start his own street punk revival band in 1990. They are mean, foul, dirty and go straight for the gut playing the kind of music great mosh pits are made of.
So if one’s up for some old school headbanging tonight with punks that defy the pop sensibilities of modern punk, one should hop on to Vintage Industrial Bar in Savska street 160. The doors open at 21h.
