Saxophone Concert at the Zagreb Archaeological Museum

The young and talented musicians of the Youth Saxophone Orchestra ‘SOS Junior’ from Slovenia, will for the first time perform in front of the Zagreb audience at the Music Salon of the Archaeological Museum on Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at 7 pm.

The ‘SOS Junior’ consists of 32 young saxophonists from 15 Slovenian music schools. The primary goal of the orchestra is to educate young musicians about orchestral performance and create a creative environment that further encourages young musicians to deal with the creation and performance of music. The Orchestra acts under the auspices of the Cultural Society Sekvoja, whose artistic leader is Lev Pupis, a saxophone soloist and professor at the Ljubljana Music and Ballet Conservatory. The conductor of the orchestra is Jovana Joka with a professional team of mentors: Joanna Blejwas and Davor Loštrek.
