‘Robin Hood’ Filmed in Croatia is Out!

The premiere of the latest Robin Hood movie was screened this Tuesday at Zagreb’s Kaptol Boutique Cinema.

Robin Hood: Origins, starring Jamie Foxx as John, Taron Egerton as Robin Hood and Jamie Dornan known for Fifty Shades of Grey movies, as Will Scarlett, was filmed in Dubrovnik and Istria in February last year. The director Otto Bathurst chose parts of Istria and one of the most beautiful streets in the world- Stradun, as well as fort Bokar and port Posat in Dubrovnik among ten destinations as locations for the latest Robin Hood.

For the filming purposes, Dubrovnik was ‘converted’ to Nottingham, about 700 statists were hired, and 650 members of the film crew arrived in Dubrovnik, which once again confirmed that Croatia has a place among the top filming locations in the past couple of years.

Many Croatian celebrities who came to the premiere of the movie were amazed by this version of story about legendary hero Robin Hood, and from today you can watch it in the cinemas all over Croatia.
