Don’t Miss: ‘Open Square Day’ This Sunday

On Sunday, September 30, from 11 am to 1 pm, the traditional Open Square Day will be held in front of Croatian National Theater in Zagreb. The event is once again organized by the Croatian National Theater and this year the Museum of Arts and Crafts and the Croatian School Museum this will join the program as well.

Two museums and theater will present the best of their programs, visitors will be able to enjoy parts of some of the most famous opera arias, orchestra, string and puff quartet performances. The National Theater’s Ballet  will perform ballet exercises while the School for Classical Ballet will present character dances. Visitors will also have the opportunity to take photos of some of the most beautiful costumes from the CNT  fund and drink coffee with the actors of the Croatian National Theater.

The Croatian School Museum will provide the free entrance for citizens to its Permanent Exhibition (from 11 am to 1 pm).

The Museum of Arts and Crafts will participate in the event with the exhibition The Sixties in Croatia – The Myth and Reality, for this opportunity the Museum has extended working hours (up to 7 pm), cheapen the entrance fee (20 HRK), provided free professional guidance of the exhibition (11 am and 5 pm) and organized creative workshops for children in front of the Museum.
