On Friday, November 15, 2019 at 7:30 pm, the Off Cycle brings a piece of Latin America to the Zagreb Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall, as Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra and top Latin musicians will perform Latin music in a whole new way!
Visitors can expect an evening full of exciting rhythms and harmonies in a completely different ‘philharmonic’ edition, directed by favorite Latin American Ricardo Luque and Cuban singing star Olvido Ruiz Castellanos. The big hits of ‘Buena Vista’ albums, Argentine tango, but also familiar hits like ‘Killing Me Softly’ will mark this evening.
The Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra will be led by renowned Venezuelan maestro Gerardo Estrada Martínez, while the Salsa All Stars Band will bring together many musicians, including a daughter of one of Buena Vista Social Club‘s leading musicians, pianist Lazar Cachao Lopez, then percussionists Lazaro Hierrezuelo, Hrvoje Rupčić and Saša Provlekanov as well as double bass player Jurica Štelma.
