Theatre Night, an event that’s running for nine long years, is being held on November 25th. It is a manifestation that aims to popularize theatrical art and raise its public visibility and influence.
Usually, it is held on 3rd Saturday in November but this year, since that date falls on the Memorial day of the victims of Vukovar and Škabrnje, it will be organized a week later.
The project was started nine years ago by the Dubrava Cultural Center, and it grew into a big celebration that attracts tens of thousands of visitors, hosted in more than 80 institutions, dispersed among 70ish locations with a multitude of performances and supporting events.
Anyone interested in cultural events and theater performances will have a great night out. There will be free tickets and plenty of events to choose from when the Theatre Night takes over the city and turns it into a little kingdom of culture, at least for a day (or night to be more exact).
