New Orleans Festival is coming to the green green grass of Park Zrinjevac today! This two-day festival, organized by the US Embassy in Zagreb, in cooperation with Cest is D’Best Festival, will celebrate the culture of the famous city of New Orleans! The festival kicks off on Friday at 7 pm with a New Orleans parade (complete with beads!), music and food!
Saturday line-up includes a jazz concert by Ljubav Komunikacija Jazz Band at 12 pm, afternoon jazz with American artist Brittny Smith, and blues from Tomislav Goluban at 6 pm. Get ready to dance to some zydeco tunes from U.S. band The Pine Leaf Boys at 8 pm, after which visitors will be entertained by Zagreb’s own Back to Swing group. Come and experience the Big Easy with Creole cuisine, live music, photos and more. Admission is free, so come to Zrinjevac, June 3-4, and let the good times roll!
