Zagreb Time Travel is the first digital interactive tour of Zagreb that works as a time machine. It was yesterday presented to the press at the Technology Park Zagreb and, to be honest, we are thrilled about it.
This tour lets you travel back in time by using tablet and wandering around the city. New virtual and augmented reality technologies used in this app make city sightseeing much more fun and interesting. At each location you visit you can hear interesting stories , get a task done, play a game and read some interesting facts about Zagreb, and this way you collect points. You can also take memorable photos by choosing one of the special effects this app offers. Expect unexpected adventures during your journey with Zagreb Time Travel such as historical characters emerging from different places, flying witches you have to catch and so on. Founder of Zagreb Time Travel – Kata Barišić was especially grateful for the support she got from Development Agency Zagreb that offered her project financial ,educational and mentoring help. Zagrebačka banka (The Bank of Zagreb), sponsors of the project, awarded this project with the first prize in the category of entrepreneurship. Zagreb Time Travel also got The Prize of the Public on the social networks.
In the future Zagreb Time Travel hopes to expand their offer to the other Croatian and hopefully other European cities. We can definitely see projects like this as a future of tourism since technologies like holograms, virtual and augmented realities are becoming more and more popular. This creative tour is also great for kids because it keeps them interested and makes them learn while playing and the estimated route duration is 1.5 hours.
