Vintage Industrial Bar and the Good Vibrations crew organize a two-day stoner festival, “Massive Infection“, which will be held on Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th of May. The festival line-up is quite impressive and includes foreign and Croatian progressive rock bands: Elder, Egypt, Abroad Experiments, Carousel, Wolfram, and Drama.
The headliners of the first evening are stoner-doom trio Egypt, originally from the city of Fargo (USA), whose album “Endless Flight” released last year was according to many positive reviews considered to be the best stoner release in 2015. It is their first show in Zagreb and an opportunity for Croatian audience to finally hear them live.

On the first day of the Massive Infection festival, the audience will be also able to see Abroad Experiments, a progressive rock band from Zagreb with more than ten years of experience and two great studio albums, “Meadows of a Grand Design” (2011) and “On the Bright Side” (2014). Abroad Experiments are Vedran Kovačić-Beli, Marko Tomljanović, Daniel Stakić and Ivan Makovec, experienced musicians who have played many concerts all over Croatia as well as several European tours. Drama, a Croatian band that has been active since 2003 will also appear on stage as a pre-act. Drama is currently working on their new studio album and will perform a couple of new songs.

The headliner on the second day of the festival is the most famous and most interesting stoner/doom bands – Elder. Their album ”Lore” published last year has been included on almost every top chart as one of the best stoner albums. Carousel, another promising heavy stoner band, will join Elder on stage on the second evening as well as Wolfram from Novi Sad. Wolfram is a part of the Serbian underground scene since 2011, and the music they play has elements of post-metal, psychedelic rock, stoner, sludge and industrial. Wolfram recently kicked their debut album ”Music of the Heathen”, which was a great success according to both, the audience and critics.
