EBAN Winter University, top European angel investors conference, will be held in Zagreb this year, November 29th and 30th. Hosts of the conference are the City of Zagreb and Croatian network of angle investors (Crane), organizers of ZagrebConnect angel conference, on which EBAN was a partner last year. Due to a successful collaboration, the organizers of those two conferences have decided to continue working together by joining them together with a goal of establishing Croatia as a leading European Ihttps://justzagreb.com/wp-admin/post-new.phpCT destination.
‘The goal of this event is to connect angel investors with local and international start up entrepreneurs and give additional stimuli to growth and better competitiveness of entrepreneurs in Croatia but also neighboring countries. This event mean a lot to Croatian angel investors and their further efforts’, said Davorin Štetner, chairman of Crane, a network that has so far invested around 23 million kunas into 30 projects.
Winter University was started 15 years ago by EBAN (European network of angel investors), a network that counts around 250 investment organizations and more than 20 000 individual investors. Zagreb conference expects more then 1700 participants, 400 angel investors and 100 successful start ups from all over the world.
Angel investors annually invest around 7,5 billion euros in Europe, with tendencies of growth in both the number of investments and funds invested.
