How much do you think you know about the rights and opportunities you have as an EU citizen, for example, as a consumer, traveler, student, worker, entrepreneur or simply a person? If you’re not sure, visit the #EUandME event this Friday, September 13th in Zrinjevac Park and find out more about your rights and all the opportunities in a fun way – with award-winning European films, quizzes, dance and awards.
During the ten days, as a part of the Food Film Festival that’s currently taking place in Zrinjevac, 12 short films by renowned European directors, including Croatian Dalibor Matanić, as well as young promising filmmakers, including some of the winners of the international awards, are screened. Every evening until September 15, before and after the main screening of the evening film, there are short films on the repertoire that will definitely intrigue, entertain, make people laugh, and maybe even touch some of the visitors.
A special #EUandME zone will also be set up this Friday from 4 pm, where visitors can take part in interesting activities or relax in sun loungers and good music while enjoying delicious snacks from nearby gastronomic houses. The main event will start at 6:30 pm and last until about 9 pm, with four short films made by directors from France, Belgium, Greece and Hungary in addition to the feature-length film.
