In a few days, Zagreb will, for the first time, be the host of Crossover Festival in the heart of the city – Ribnjak Park. This international music festival is about to bring a number of interesting musicians from around the world. It will be held from 26th to 30th July.
The first appearance of Crossover Festival in Zagreb will attract the visitors with its palette of musical styles. French jazz pianist Cédric Hanriot accompanied by contemporary jazz group Groovematic. The audience will also have the opportunity to enjoy Maurizio Presidente’s band composed of Portuguese, French and German musicians who successfully mix genres and rhythms specific to their culture with a focus on gypsy jazz. Lady Jelena, a musician from neighboring Serbia whose singles ‘Nikola’ and ‘Watermelon love’ are already well known in the region will have her time on the stage also, as well as the band from Kosovo Gipsy Groove which has already become a European attraction. The stage will also be shared by the African band KairaKela whose contagious rhythms attract everyone to the podium. Namely, two to three concerts will be held each day, and in the meantime, superb DJ performances will be provided for superb soundtracks.
Every day during the festival, there will be two to three concerts. On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, it will be open from 5 PM until midnight and during weekend festival doors will be open during the day as well.
Crossover Festival Zagreb, apart from the music program, will also offer an interesting gastronomic offer. Delicious snacks and ice-cream refreshments will not be missed.
