Croatian Folk Dances in the Heart of The City: Ensemble LADO Returns To Zagreb

After two amazing concerts, at Rab and Porec, National folklore ensemble Lado returns to Zagreb where the best Croatian dancers will hold two concerts for the local audience. The first concert will be held at the Scene Amadeo (ticket 50 kn); it will be a one-hour long vocal-instrumental program created by ensemble’s music director Drazen Kurilovčan. On July 16th Lado will again dance in Zagreb, this time at the Atrium of Gallery Klovićevi dvori, so be sure to ensure your seat on time.

The second part of July is reserved for traditional Adriatic tour of the ensemble. The first concert will be the one at Fort Revelin, on July 23rd with which Lado returns to Dubrovnik Summer Festival. A day earlier, the fourteenth year in a row, Lado joins the actors in Zagvozd. This summer’s tour program will, among others, include some of the most beautiful choreography of Ivan Ivančan prepared by the new artistic director of the ensemble Andrija Ivančan.
