The annual event that celebrates the best of music and videos – MTV Video Music Awards was held this Monday in New York City’s Radio City Music Hall. The theme of this years’s ceremony “Everything Might Happen” made everyone expecting surprises during the big night.
It certainly surprised Croats when they saw American singer Nicki Minaj wearing Croatian designer Juraj Zigman during her performance. Zigman posted Nicki’s photo on his official Instagram and wrote that the golden armor corset was custom made for her. At this time Minaj is one of the world’s best-selling artists and after Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie and Little Mix recently wore Zigman’s creations on stage, this means a really great international success for this Croatian designer.
The same night, Camila Cabello showed up at the party in New York wearing another Croatian designer – LEI LOU by Aleksandra Dojčinović. “She wore Blakely dress from the collection spring/summer 2018″ Dojčinović wrote on her official Facebook page. This is not the first time celebrities wore LEI LOU, as singer Katherine McPhee wore LEI LOU dress at this year’s Oscars party.
