Croatia is Hrvatska, an interactive multimedia exhibition created for 133 years of Croatia Osiguranje insurance company won the IIDA Global Excellence award for the best-designed exhibition space!
The International Interior Design Association holds an annual competition for the global excellence award that rates and evaluates interior design and architecture. This year, the awarded exhibitions included the one that occupied the space of Grič Tunnel in Zagreb during Autumn 2017, and selected ones from China, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, and the USA.
“The winners of this year’s Global Excellence Awards illustrate transformative design while offering pragmatic solutions that meet the needs of the local population and pay homage to local trends and traditions,” said Vice President and CEO of IIDA, Cheryl S. Durst.
Croatia is Hrvatska, the exhibition in Grič Tunnel was brought to life by Brigada (spatial design) in partnership with Zagreb Tourist Board, teams from Adris Group and Croatia Osiguranje, and agencies Bruketa&Žinić&Grey and Millenium promocija. It was conceived as an interactive time-travel tunnel featuring 130 years of Croatia’s turbulent past where the visitors were also able to play their part and contribute.
