Christmas Chocolate Cookies by Maja Kefecek

Maja Kefeček is a promoter of a healthy and natural vegetarian diet. She finished Makronova School of native cuisine and the numerous seminars on healthy eating and living, and a lot of cooking classes. Maja teaches healthy cooking through cooking classes in Makronova’s School of native cuisine. She cooks on yoga retreats and other healthy seminars, and she also writes articles for many Croatian magazines and teaches individual cooking lessons. She is an author of few books, and for the readers of JustZagreb, she prepared Chocolate Christmas Cookies. Enjoy!


Ingredients:
– 200 g oat flakes /for GF version, use GF oats/
– 80 g hazelnuts /for more flavor use toasted/
– 2 tbsp coconut sugar
– 30 g cacao powder
– pinch of vanilla powder
– 4 ripe bananas
– 1 big tbsp coconut oil
– 2 tbsp agave syrup


Preparation:
Mix oat flakes and hazelnuts in a blender. Add cocoa and vanilla and mix all together. In a blender mix bananas, agave syrup and coconut oil. Mix all together and on the baking paper shape the cookies with a spoon. If you wish you can add amaranth poppies on top. Bake for cc 15 minutes on 180 degrees Celsius. Serve with hot chocolate :)
