Zagreb will host the European basketball championship Eurobasket 2015 from September 5th to 10th, alongside Montpellier, Berlin and Riga.
Countries from the C group of the competition, including Greece, Slovenia, Croatia, Netherlands, Macedonia and Georgia, will square off in Arena Zagreb sports center, while the east side of the ban Jelacic square will be turned into a ‘fan zone’ where everyone will be able to watch the matches on the big screen for free.
