The program of the sixth Dubrovnik Festiwine was presented to Zagreb wine journalists this week. Regional wine festival, Dubrovnik Festiwine will take place 22 – 28 April, 2019 at Dubrovnik’s hotel Palace, various restaurants and bars all around the city.
The central event is the Wine Exhibition, where numerous Croatian and European winemakers present their best products to the satisfaction of many wine lovers, who traditionally visit Dubrovnik and FestiWine in April. In addition to the Wine Exhibition,the FestiWine also guarantees a rich off-program, which includes, among others, the FestiWine Gala dinner prepared by a renowned team of chefs and sommeliers, Blind Date with Ston Oyster, workshops and lectures held by food and wine professionals, as well as many other events that attract the attention of a large number of wine lovers every year.
During the Dubrovnik Wine Week, all guests are invited to visit the restaurants, wine bars and cafes with the Wine Friendly sign and taste the best wines of Dubrovnik-Neretva County along with the finest delicacies of the Dubrovnik region. The wines are evaluated by an international panel of judges consisting of renowned wine experts, and led by Bojan Kobal from the very beginning of the festival.
