Museum of Broken Relationships gets its US version in Los Angeles

A unique Croatian Museum, the Museum of Broken Relationships, will soon have a sibling. The American version of the Museum will be opened this May on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles. The Museum in Los Angeles will have about 70 exhibits from the original Croatian Museum and about 30 items which will be collected from LA citizens. The Museum began in Zagreb back in 2006 the same way, by collecting memories and exhibits from ordinary people. Its founders Olinka Vištica and Dražen Grubišić, two artists and former lovers created the museum, imagining him as a traveling exhibition. They did travel, and they delighted audience wherever they came, so their collection grew more and more. In the end, Olinka, Dražen, and their museum settled down permanently in Zagreb’s Upper Town from where it will expand to the US market in two months. Good Luck!

Have you ever had a broken heart? Have you ended up some relationships and you wanted to put those memories far behind the big unbreakable glass? If you have that kind of the experience, and you live in Los Angeles, donate your letters, teddy bears, hearts, chocolates, music… anything that reminds you of your ex to the Museum of Broken Relationships. The Address is 6751 Hollywood Blvd. Los Angeles, California.
