Project of free wine workshops called “Summer for Wine Lovers”, organized by Vinoljupci Association is starting this week in Zagreb. A total of four workshops are scheduled on 16, 18, 19 and 20 July,2019, starting at 5:30 pm and will be held in the pleasant venue of the Club of the Writers’ Restaurant on the main Zagreb square.

Ponos Winery from Potomje, Pelješac

The theme of the workshop is, of course, wine, and with this project the organizers aim to increase the level of wine culture and to raise the public’s attention to the preservation of Croatian autochthonous wine varieties. Participants will have the opportunity to learn the most important facts about the world of wine production, to get an insight at the most famous wine varieties of the world, get to know famous  wine regions of Croatia, learn which are the most important Croatian autochthonous varieties, how the wine making process looks like, how to properly cool, open and serve wine and more. All of the workshops in this cycle have the same content so it’s enough to take part in just one of them.

Workshop participants will also have the opportunity to taste the wines. They will be able to taste four different wines (sparkling wine, white wine, rose and red wine) from all four Croatian wine regions. On some workshops guests will be the wine experts who will share their experiences. Free tickets can be downloaded from Entrio.
