The Museum of Contemporary Art (MSU) in Zagreb marks the ninth anniversary of the moving to a new building this Saturday, December 8, and, traditionally, has a free entrance and numerous programs for people of all types and ages.

From 11 am till 12 am there will be held a promotion of the book: „Toward a Concrete Utopia: Architecture in Yugoslavia 1948-1980“ at the MSU Cafe. After that, at 3 pm at the same place, there’ll be presented a new mural called ‘Hat Wearers’ by the famous artist Lonac. Creative workshops for the kids will be held at the Kids Gallery from 11 am till 7 pm.

At the vestibule of the Museum, visitors will have the opportunity to see the exhibition „Games and Politics”, the result of cooperation with the Goethe-Institut and the Center for Art and Media in Karlsruhe (ZKM),  that shows politically and socially engaged video games created after 2004. Visitors can also try out as many as 16 different games exploring different aspects of contemporary society.

The concert of the children’s choir “Zagreb’s Angels” will be held at Gorgona Hall with the start at 5 pm. The choir will perform traditional Croatian children’s songs. At the same hall, at 8 pm you can enjoy a film “The Stone” by a French director Florence Lazar, who will personally attend the Zagreb’s premiere.
