Today, on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 an opera spectacle will be performed by the opera ensemble of the Croatian National Theater in Zagreb, and only a day later, on Thursday, July 4, young musicians of the SO DO Orchestra will perform on the open stage of the Zagreb Classic festival at Park Tomislavac.
Tonight at 9 pm The Orchestra and Choir of the Croatian National Theater in Zagreb under the guidance of conductor Marcello Mottadelli presents the program ‘Opera of the CNT: Yesterday,today, tomorrow’. The program consists of an attractive selection of operas and on the stage of the Zagreb Classic you will be able to see a real opera ‘national team’: Ljubomir Puškarić, Tomislav Mužek, Sofia Ameli Gojić, Ivana Lazar, Valentina Fijačko Kobić, Stjepan Franetović, Siniša Štork, Diana Hilje and Ivo Gamulin.
A day later, on Thursday, at 8 pm the Zagreb Classic festival opens its stage for young musicians gathered in two orchestras of SO DO – El Sistema Croatia. The El Sistema project was launched in Venezuela as a project that brings together children through music, and today in Croatia there are two of these orchestras – one in Zagreb and one in Istria. This Thursday, at King Tomislav Square more than 80 young musicians from Zagreb and Istria will perform united as the joint orchestra.
The entrance to all concerts of Zagreb Classic is free of charge so there are no excuses for missing these two magnificent concerts!
