Tim Hecker Performs at Mocvara Club September 26th

One of the most respected artists in experimental electronic music and a pioneer in the genre of ambient electro , Tim Hecker, is coming to Močara club to promote his latest album Love Streams on September 26th.

Published under the 4AD label, Tim Hecker’s eight album was recorded on Island by the scene legend Ben Foster and features the Icelandic Choir Ensemble who’s vocals were arranged by Jóhann Jóhannsson, as of late best known to the general public as an award winning film composer (The Theory of Everything, Sicario…)

The album has received vastly positive reviews from critics and follows the experimental spirit of Hecker’s previous albums. As Philipe Sherburn from Pitchfork describes it: Using guitar, piano, organ, and, primarily, scads of digital processing, he treats sound as a plastic object, something physical to be molded and stretched. His work is sculptural in feel and widescreen in scope, and it is extraordinarily attentive to texture. Foremost among his concerns has been the idea of diffuseness, of dissolution.

The concert starts from 10pm at Močvara club, Trnjanski nasip dd, with an entry fee of 80kn.
