All Seven Dragon Balls Found in Zagreb!

Goku can stop his globetrotting to find all seven dragon balls, they were located in Zagreb! An unknown artist (as of yet) has turned seven sculptures, installations and generally known public ball shaped objects around the city into dragon balls by sticking the show’s signature stars on them.

Dragon Ball is one of the most famous manga and anime series in the world created by Akira Toriyama. The series started in 1984 and has since then been turned into a global phenomena, mostly due to later editions of the animated show titled Dragon Ball Z.

The series depicts the adventures of Goku, an alien kid with a monkey tale, as he travels the globe learning martial arts and searching for seven dragon balls that, once gathered in one place, summon a dragon who grants a single wish. The series follows Goku from childhood to adulthood, and even goes as far as depicting the adventures of his children and grandchildren. Toriyama got his inspiration from a famous classical Chinese novel Journey to the West.

So far it is not known who created the dragon balls, but all seven photos have been shared as a post on 9gag two days ago, with the poster exclaiming he found all seven of them. It might even be the artist himself (the post calls the person an artist, but since a lot of fine arts students are fans of the show, it’s very likely), trying to brag a bit, but carefully as some might see this as vandalism. For the numerous fans of the series, it’s a tough call.
