Equal Opportunities Festival is an international festival of urban culture performed by artists with disabilities. It’s a three day long street festival that will take place on ban Jelacic quare from May 17th to 19th.
The festival aims to expose as many people as possible to the works of disabled artists and raise awareness about disability and the potentials of people who have it.
During its three day run time (from 10 am until 10 pm), more than 900 performers and artists from Croatia and abroad (of whom 600 have some form of disability) will showcase their skills in music, fine arts, film making, dancing, theater and other creative endeavors with a little help from established local artists and performers. Street sports events featuring disabled sportsmen and women will be held next to the festival.
