On October 24th, roughly 40 years after one of the most popular bands worldwide, Dire Straits, was formed, Zagreb will have the pleasure to host ‘The Dire Straits Experience’!
Dire Straits saxophonist Chris White initiated this project and has been selling out concert halls throughout the world. In Zagreb, the concert will be held at the Dražen Petrović Basketball Hall to bring back to life the bands greatest hits.
This reformed ‘band’ is a band which has for a few years now been recalling the glory Dire Straits days with hits like ‘Sultans of Swing’, ‘Brothers in Arms’ and ‘Money for Nothing’.
Dire Straits sold 120 million albums, and younger audiences today are still discovering the value of their musical legacy. It is worth pointing out that the Zagreb concert will be the only one in the region.
