Croatia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019

The 64th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest is taking place in Tel Aviv, Israel, following Israel’s victory at the 2018 contest that was held in Lisbon, Portugal. Croatia participated in the contest with the song “The Dream” performed by Roko Blažević.

Roko’s song “The Dream” was selected for contest in Tel Aviv in February, at the national final Dora 2019 organised by Croatian broadcaster HRT. Roko started his music career at an early age and besides singing, he has been playing the piano since he was 7 years old. Over the years, he has participated in many national and international festivals and music reality shows. The 19-year old Roko Blažević performed at the Eurovision’s Second Semi-Final Night on May 16th and, despite his great performance, unfortunately didn’t qualify to the Grand Final.
