One of the largest international photography festivals will be held, under the headline ‘New Citizens’, in the Museum of Contemporary Arts and on few more locations from 6th to 20th September.
On September 9th there will be a Discourse Programme ‘Beyond the Documentary’. The Festival will also present the Marina Viculin Award for the first time this year, and a special cash prize in recognition of artists with exceptional achievements.
This two-week international festival is held every autumn in Zagreb at a variety of locations. It gathers together young contemporary photographers with a shared aim of progressing artistic and contemporary photographic practice, and a desire to stimulate discussion on key global social and political issues. Interactivity, innovation, creativity, and inclusion are at the center of everything which makes Organ Vida a successful festival – enabling it to become the biggest and most up-to-date annual photography event in southeast Europe.
