According to the preliminary results of the Croatian Tourist Board, in the period from January to October 2015, the Adriatic coast and the City of Zagreb have set a new record in tourism. The number of overnight stays exceeded the total sum of overnight stays in 2014. 75 million and 674 thousand overnight stays is an increase of 7% compared to the same period last year. From January to September, the Dubrovnik-Neretva County recorded 6 million and 304 thousand overnight stays (4,3%), and 1 million 363 thousand arrivals (an increase of 6,8%), which led to an increase of 8,33 in overnight stays. In the first nine months in 2015, Zagreb hosted 1 million and 362 thousand guests who stayed overnight, which is the highest increase of 13% compared to 2014. Zagreb also recorded 792,000 arrivals, which is an increase of 12,7%.

Most guests came from Germany, Slovenia, Austria, Czech Republic, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, the Netherlands, UK and Hungary.

In September, the Dubrovnik-Neretva County recorded 930,000 overnight stays (an increase of 4,3%) and 207,000 arrivals (an increase of 8,45%). Zagreb recorded almost 200,000 overnight stays (12%) and 119,000 arrivals (an increase of 9,7%).
