Strossmartre: Summer on Stross, a collection of events organized on Strossmayer Walkway every day from May 30, 2019 until the beginning of September is running its course at one of the most romantic promenades in our city, located just a few minutes from the Ban Jelačić Square, right underneath Lotrščak Tower.
Each summer, Strossmartre surprises us with hundreds of interesting events including concerts, art-and-craft stalls, exhibitions, kids’ program, as well as some unusual happenings, such as the best mongrel dog show, finest wine-and-soda spritzer competition etc. Musical program, just as every year, varies from jazz, evergreen to the nostalgic 50’s, 60’s 80’s music, along with latino music, singer-songwriters, gipsy and fun alternative genres.
Almost every afternoon there’s a puppet show held at 7:30 pm, while every evening with a start at 8:30 pm you can enjoy concert by a local band. For more info visit Facebook page of the project.
